Looking for the Cause of Thinning Hair

As if I did not have enough to worry about,  my hair was starting to come out.  I had heard that the hair gene was inherited from one’s mother and my mom had very thin hair most of her life.  However,  my dad had thick hair so I hoped I might just get mine from him.   I was considering going on a Thinning Hair Treatment but wanted to be sure that I was suffering from a hair loss only and not some serious illness that was causing it.   The doctor said I was healthy enough and confirmed what I did not want to hear.  My hair loss was coming from my DNA.
