I Wanted To Avoid BPH Treatment

It did not help me to know that 50 per cent of the men over 60 have Benigh Prostatic Hyperplasia.  Nor did it help me to know that the odds went up to 90 per cent of the men over 70 having it.  I would much rather he had told me that I had beat the odds and was operating with the minority and would not need BPH treatment.  The treatment was not that bad and he had hoped that I would be able to avoid surgery.  If he thought he hoped I could avoid it how did he think I felt about it?
