Dietary Changes with Acid Reflux

November 21st, 2008

Having acid reflux does not mean that a person needs to change his or her entire life around, but it may mean changing what he or she eats.  Foods that contain a lot of grease should be avoided, as they may cause the condition to reappear or worsen.  Alcohol should only be taken in moderation or not at all, as it is known to stimulate acid reflux in some people.  The best way to make the diet change is for a person to talk to a doctor about certain kinds of foods that may be prepared and eaten instead of that person’s normal diet.
