Diabetic Diet Tips

It can be startling when you’re diagnosed with diabetes. Unchecked diabetes can become a life threatening disease. The good news however is that most people who suffer from diabetes can control it with diet and exercise. When my sister-in-law was diagnosed with diabetes her entire way of cooking food and eating changed. Gone were the sugary soft drinks. They were replaced with low sugar and low calorie fruit drinks and lots of water. Gone was the white bread. When bread was eaten it was whole grain. Gone were the sugary processed breakfast cereals. She cut down on using pre processed foods and is using fresh fruits and vegetables. Her entire family is benefiting from their new and healthy 1800 calorie diabetic diet.
