A Guy and his Dog

There is this guy that always walks past our house with his dog.  One day I was out by the road doing some gardening and the dog came up and sniffed around and licked me on the leg.  I thought that was strange, and asked the guy what he did for a living.  He said that he teaches classes about nursing theories and models and often uses his dog in the classes.  I asked what the dog did and he said that he actually helps out the elderly when his students go to visit the nursing homes, the dog goes along and always licks the patients to let them know that they are loved.  I guess I was loved that day, too.
