Are energy drinks healthy?

Many energy drinks are advertised and marketed as being healthy as they contain ingredients such as B vitamins and amino acids. So, people ask within themselves are energy drinks healthy. But the fact is that they contain these materials in a very small amount and major part is prepared with sugar and caffeine content which is a harmful ingredient to the human body which might cause harsh effects on the human heart. This composition makes the energy drinks thus more harmful than being advantageous. You’ll be surprised to know that some energy drinks contains almost 16 teaspoons of sugar in an 8 ounce serving. Excess of such a large quantity of sugar leads to weight gain and diabetes. Once these energy drinks are taken regularly the resistance level of your body goes down. So now it’s up to us to think are energy drinks healthy or not.
