I’m not exactly Stephen King here. I just published my first book and my publisher isn’t exactly opending up the vault to promote it. Like many first time authors without a proven track record, I’m basically on my own when it comes to online book marketing or more traditional methods of promotion. I’m not afraid of doing the work, and work the phones every day trying to drum up interviews, and practically live at the post office for all the review copies I’m sending out. Still, I can’t seem to really have that breakthrough that results in massive exposure for my book.

If you have ever wondered what goes on behind the scense of a securities fraud case, then I can tell you…It’s great. Its not glamorous, but it is meticulously researched and prepared, right donw to how a sensece should go in a courtroom, and even the best suit to wear.
It ain’t Morse or Quincy, but its great fun to watcvh a master at work in such a new environment.
You may never get to do this, as its quite rare being a securities fraud lawyer, but I had a ball and want to tell the world, but I guess I should keep it under wraps for now.

The company that I work for is not doing as well as it used to be doing, and I have been trying to help my boss figure it all out. We need to make a comeback, but we have not found the right way to do that just yet. What I was wondering about is that six sigma certification stuff. I was thinking that it might come in handy for a company like this, and we would learn a new way of running the company. My boss already asked me to figure some stuff out about it, so that we can get started as soon as possible if it sounds like it would work for us.

Kathy and Michelle were sales reps for a large metal processing plant in the Midwest. They kept up with the industry news and attended every sales convention the industry sponsored. Year after year they noticed that one company in particular always seemed to have the most people hanging around their presentation booth at the sales conventions. So Kathy and Michelle decided to do some research and find out what made this company “tick” from a marketing and promotion perspective.

It has been awhile since I have been able to do my taxes without being confused. I have been trying to do my own taxes for years now, and it is just getting harder since my business is growing. I need to find a good way to do my taxes so I know I am getting the most money back, and not overpaying or underpaying. I am going to look up accountants in Birmingham to see if anyone has a good amount of expertise in the small business area. One thing I know for sure is that I can’t keep doing my own taxes.
