What is Legal Malpractice?

If you haven’t beenvictimized by a lawyer, you probably have never heard the term legal malpractice. Legal Malpractice is any negligent or wrongful act that is committed by a lawyer that causes his client to have damages. Personal injury cases are about 25 percent of legal malpractice claims. If you have been a victim of legal malpractice then the lawyer that caused the harm could have legal malpractice insurance. This insurance would help cover them in the case where they caused harm to a client or clients and the client is now filing a lawsuit. Now that you have this information it could help you in cases of legal malpractice.
