The Role of the Bellows Pump

October 11th, 2009

As fluid moves through the bellow, it first passes from the primary system, through the accumulator or reservoir, and then through the pump, before it travels on to the heat exchanger. This bellows pump plays a vital role in the process. This pump generally functions using displacement principles. This is why bellows are used in human heart pumps, which are devices that control the amount and pressure of the blood that passes through the heart – and this is why it is equally important that the bellows pump function properly – every time, all of the time. A bellows pump can be created in any size, to suit the needs of any bellows.
