Only Keep What You Need

September 3rd, 2008

Up until last year I thought that I was very organized with all of my paperwork. In the past three years we moved three times and bought and sold homes in each location. As anyone knows who has bought or sold a home before that this entails a lot of paperwork. Finally by our last move I was sick of hauling around a large filing cabinet and decided to downsize into a small accordion style filing system. I have saved pertinent information like birth certificates and property tax records, but pretty much everything else was shredded. There is no need to organize every piece of paperwork that you get sent in the mail.
