New Lucrative Market

I use to go to Las Vegas about once a month. I lived in Los Angeles and it was either a few hour car drive or a cheap airline flight away. When I talked to the cab drivers or perhaps a hotel staff member I would always hear such great things about the area including real estate, job market, etc. I wonder if I did a Las Vegas job search today if I would find the same things. It was such a lucrative new market a few years ago that it would be really enticing to pick up and move there.
