My first husband was a real piece of work. I married him when I was 21, and I had no idea what he was really like. We met in a bar, he sweet-talked me for several months, and we got married. I thought he was great and I was in love. Well, shortly after our marriage, I realized the mistake I made. You see, I wanted to have the typical married life: husband works until 5, comes home, eats dinner, and spends the evening loving me. But my husband was a personal injury attorney in Orange County CA. So, he was busy a lot of the time, coming home after 11pm most nights and leaving me alone. That didn’t go well for long, and I soon was filing for divorce. Believe me, it’s no easy task to divorce a lawyer in Orange County. They all know each other!
