Is our economy going to fix itself?

Will our economy ever get back on track now. First we were bailing out big banks and credit card companies as well as big trading companies, now we are looking into bailing out companies in the auto industry as well. This has become such a shame for most people who live in this great country. Although he have hit a staggering high with consumer credit card debt and most people are now having to look at debt negotiation programs to get out of debt or face losing thousands of dollars in the long run and never become debt free at all, quite a bad time to be American.
