Important Certified Dental Assistant Jobs
September 8th, 2009
Certified dental assistant jobs are fast becoming part of a rapidly growing occupational field and the career outlook is good, offering many opportunities along the way. Most dental assistants complete at least one year of training before being hired and most sit for state board examinations to become certified. Most states offer certification testing and licensing for dental assistants, but this may or may not be a requirement for employment. In earlier times, dental assistants were trained on the job and were not expected to come equipped with any sort of dental assistant educational background and licensing was unheard of. However, today’s highly technical world has made it almost mandatory for dental assistants to have completed a dental assisting program of some kind.
