Identity Theft Cost Me

I do not understand how it is still so easy for someone to go and steal your information and easily start charging up credit cards in your name. I have now put an identity theft shield on my accounts so that if anyone looks to tap into my line of credit anywhere they will be asked a number of questions that hopefully only I would be able to answer correctly. There is no limit that thieves will go to get what they want and I need to retaliate by going the extra mile to protect my credit from these people.
