I had to fill the water tanks.

I can’t believe it. It was very cold last night, but I didn’t realize it was cold enough for our pipes to freeze. We woke up this morning to get ready for work and school, and my family was unable to shower, because there was no water. When we turned the faucets on, there was nothing. I took the day off work, and I had to fill the water tanks that I have in the backyard. I usually use the water tanks in the summer to wwater my garden, but I’ve never before had to use them in the winter to provide my family with water to drink, cook, and shower.
