Doing Her Own Thing

August 10th, 2008

My daughter has been independent from birth. As a toddler no could tell her how to ride a tricycle, as a young girl, she chose her own clothes, and now, as a young mother, she’s determined to live life on her terms.

That’s the reason she came storming into my house one day three years, at her wit’s end with her job. She hated the inflexible office routine and gossip. She told me she was going to work at home.

I was skeptical but not really surprised when I noticed shed search and found several choices locally, including medical transcription job openings. This job appealed to her so she immediately began training.

Last year she began to live her independent live, enjoying her career, and still does it her way. As usual.
