archiving

September 16th, 2008

In the continuing evolution of the computer and internet age new solutions are being introduced on a daily basis. In this day and age exchange archiving is necessary. The benefits are many and the negative aspects are few. By archiving, a company or individual reduces storage costs of the data stored. Another positive aspect of archiving is that the impact on overall system performance is negligible. By archiving the overall management challenges associated with this aspect of business are kept to a minimum as well. By archiving the past problem of retention can be mitigated as well. Overall the positive aspects of archiving are well worth the effort.
