Annuities Offer Various Investment Options

If you are thinking about investing money in annuities, if you go through with it, you will have some choices to make. Annuities offer an array of investment options. For example, you can invest in an annuity that will earn a specific interest rate. This type of annuity is similar to a certificate of deposit. There are also variable annuities that are available. An example of this would be mutual funds. Even though mutual funds come with a risk of losing money, many annuity companies don’t allow your original investment to decline past a certain point. This is called a “floor”.
