A Debt Consolidation Loan Got Our Finances Under Control

A few years ago we refinanced our house twice, and we took out several lines of credit to pay for home improvements. When my husband had his hours reduced at work, we weren’t able to make the payments, and we started getting letters and phone calls from the bank. My sister told me that we may be able to get a debt consolidation loan, and that would reduce our payments to a more affordable amount. We applied and we qualified, and the company that we used did all the negotiating for us. We are so glad that we were able to get our finances under control!
