RV-ease

April 3rd, 2008

If you’re thinking about purchasing an RV, chances are that you will probably have it shipped to you by way of an RV transport company.  As most of us know, cars are typically a pretty expensive purchase for most people.  RVs, however, are a lot bigger, come with more features and are, therefore, MORE expensive.  So, needless to say, someone who has just purchased an RV will want to know exactly how that RV is getting to them.  It is, of course, within your rights to find out what RV transport service will be used.  Ask the person or company that you’re purchasing your RV from if there is more than one transport company that can be used.  If so, make it your responsibility to review and research each of those companies.  Call up each company to find out what their policies and procedures are for transporting RVs, what happens should one get lost, stolen or if there is any damage done to the vehicle.  Have a list of questions/concerns handy and make sure that all of your questions are answered to your satisfaction.
