Is The Aptera Safe?

Ok, so in December, Aptera Motors will be launching its 3 wheeled vehicle which looks like a hybrid between an airplane, UFO, and motorcycle.  The vehicle is extremely small.  This makes us ask the questions of, is the Aptera Safe?  In fact it is very safe.  The body is made of a composite material which does not give.  Instead of sheet metal, its more of a plastic like substance which will prevent the body of the vehicle from disforming during impact.  This will pretty much protect the driver extremely well.  The safety on this vehicle is said to be better then 90% of the cars on the road today.
