Improve Gas Mileage By Maintaining Your Car

How to improve gas mileage by maintaining your car:
• Keep your engine in shape – You can increase gas mileage by an average of four percent just by keeping your engine adjusted according to your owner’s manual. Improvement may usually vary depending on a car’s condition.• Always keep your tires properly aligned and inflated – By doing so it can help increase gas mileage up to three percent.• Use manufacturer’s recommended oil – According to (EPA) the Environmental Protection Agency and (DOE) the U.S. Department of Energy, you can improve gas mileage by making use of the manufacturer’s recommended grade of motor oil. • Regularly check and replace air filters – You can improve gas mileage up to ten percent by replacing clogged filters regularly.
