Different types of candle holders

Candle holders come in all shapes and sizes and can be used for a whole variety of purposes, from functional uses to a purely decorative centrepiece. There are various different types of candle holder to suit all purposes, with just a few being summarised below.Candle holders that are to be used for functional purposes are likely to be much less ornate than those used for decorative reasons, with the type of candle holder required reflecting that. Functional candle holders are more likely to be in a single column, as opposed to the multi-arm design of candelabra, and will be a lot plainer.
