A school trip to the British Museum

For the last five years now I’ve been a teacher at a local primary school. I signed up for a fast track teacher training course after finishing University and if I’m honest I didn’t know what to expect. It has truly surpassed expectations, though, and I haven’t looked back since the day I started. One of the things I love is the real enjoyment that kids can get from learning when they’re engaged and properly stimulated. I’ve been given the opportunity to take my class to the British Museum this term and I’m really looking forward to it. There’s so much for kids to see and do there that it’s a really great way to learn. The best thing is I think they’re all really looking forward to it too.

Google flu outbreak Service

Google flu is a service available from Google Trends.  Google tracks the frequency that searches were made for terms like flu symptoms in different areas around the world. They then used official data that tracks flu outbreaks. What was remarkable from this experiment is that the Google data was able to pick up a flu outbreak in an area up to two week before the official data picked it up. So you can now monitor for flu outbreaks using Google flu. For Google, it is considered a net service.

My Manager Was Once The Victim Of identity theft

My manager Vera Sue is a very good person and always is such a calming and positive influence on all of the gang here at the company.  I was telling her that I never have even really looked at my own credit report, and that I saw no reason to really worry about that,  She amazed me when she told me how she had once been the victim of identity theft, and that it took her literally years to get the whole thing straightened out.  She said that her first tip off was that she saw some weird items on her credit report, so I need to always check it once a year.
