I just found a way to get every single one of my Christmas gifts in one place! I am hoping that I am able to go home for Christmas this year, and when I do I will be prepared for being the best gift giver out there. All of the fantastic personalized gifts for kids were on this website I found online! I can not wait to see the faces of the children when they unwrap these things. I think when a child gets a toy with his own name on it, it just really adds something extra and makes it special.

Once Kids Make Money, it is good to allow your children to make money decisions now while their decisions only affect their lives. Parents often make the mistake of managing all of the money for their children and though the intention is good it only works if you are allowing your children some decisions in the process. It is great to tell your children what to do with their money but don’t do it all for them. Let them make some choices even though you know some will be good and some will be bad. Some will make them money and some may cost them money but that is ok because they are learning. By the time they are adults hopefully they will know the difference between the two.

With school just a week away, we’re right in the middle of school clothes shopping. My son has very particular tastes in clothing and shoes, and is only willing to wear certain brands. For example, he only likes vans shoes, because he says the are the most comfortable he’s ever tried. I think he only wears them because that’s what his friends wear, but I’m not going to point that out. I set a spending limit, and anything above and beyond the limit he has to pay for. If he’s willing to spend his hard earned money on name brand, then I say more power to him.
