I just went to a friends house for a slumber party. Girls talk about all sorts of things. I am sure that some people would get a kick out of the things that we discuss. Topics move from everything from boys to movies to chocolate to deodorant. The last one mentioned is where this story picks up. My friend brought in a secret deodorant review and was all excited to show it to all of us. We all wondered what the big deal was until she spilled the beans that the review was hers. Now it was posted all over magazines everywhere. We, being fourteen year old girls, all screamed and giggled about it for the rest of the night.

I have recently taken into wearing different sided cuff-links. These are the types of cuff-links where one side is different from the other side. Despite being different, the two sides usually are similar in theme. One example is this pair of cuff-links that I saw recently. On one side is a golf club, while the other side is a golf ball. On first glance, it may look strange wearing different sided cuff-links. For one, there is no consistency between the right and left cuffs. Furthermore, the sizes of the two sides may be drastically different, and therefore create an asymmetric look. Despite these setbacks, these cuff-links are getting more popular these days.

There will no doubt be many times when a couple who have once been at war find themselves slipping back into the old conflict. It takes two to have a fight, and, in this situation, if one partner decides not to fight you may both be able to reduce the conflict.
On the other hand, the same is true of behaving peacefully, and if one partner continues to fight, then negotiation becomes very difficult. As I said, it is vital for both partners to observe the truce for long enough to create a new kind of dialogue.
