Symptoms of Infant Reflux
The case of acid reflux in kids is not an uncommon phenomenon as almost 1 out of every 2 child experiences this problem. Infant acid reflux symptoms are generally characterized due to problems in food habits and also when the esophagus in the child is not functioning properly. The esophagus doesn’t function properly and thus the food is pushed back into the esophagus resulting in utter discomfort for the infant. This is most often characterized by vomiting, coughing and high levels of fussiness when the time for meals comes. The reasons for which kids experience acid reflux is different from those of adults. While adults suffer this condition due to smoking and such things, the primary reason for kids is the extreme levels of acidity in the food they consume.
