High-intensity interval training (HIIT) is a unique approach to gaining maximum cardio and strength benefit in very short exercise periods, and is an excellent complement to your other exercise build muscle efforts. But beware, HIIT is not for the faint of heart! To get the intended benefit from HIIT, you have to show up prepared to work!
A HIIT session involves a short warm-up and cool down, separated by several intervals. A typical interval includes a maximum effort work period followed by a moderate effort recovery period. That is, during the entire HIIT session, your body is under load, and in fact, the “recovery” period is equal to most workouts’ work periods.
But the results can’t be denied. Studies have shown that HIIT sessions produce the same biochemical muscle changes as traditional workout sessions four times longer! An added benefit is HIIT sessions are shown to increase a person’s metabolic rate for up to 24 hours after performing the exercise session. So Google a HIIT session that is specific to your goals and give it a shot. You might be surprised at the results.

As a financial planner I’m always attending different seminars to enhance my knowledge. Last month I received in the mail a flyer detailing an upcoming seminar. I was excited because the seminar covered how to compare loans, cards, travel money and foreign exchange. It looked awesome as it would cover a lot of topics that I’m constantly asked about,but don’t always have the most up to date asnwers. I was also pleased to see that If I brought others to the seminar I could receive a substantial discount. I was on the phone that afternoon with fellow planners. I ended up going for free.

Roman Shields are generally believed to have been designed by the earliy Greeks or Italians, although we’ll never know for certain. Historically, Roman shields were rectangle in shape and were used to protect their front sides from arrows and other unfriendly advances. However, by the 3rd Century BC they seemed to have evolved into Roman Shields that were round – at least according to the artwork of the day that has survived.Roman Shields were made of two pieces of wood that were glued together – like a thicker version of modern day plywood. The outer surfaces of Roman Shields were covered with canvas and then calf skins. The top and bottom of Roman Shields were then outfitted with a metal – usually iron – edging that protected the edges in battle or when simply placed on the ground. While in battle, a warrior would have his hand on a handle inside the shield that would facilitate rotation in order to avoid hits from other warriors.

I have had to travel for some conferences. Often times I do not rent a car. I use the transportation that is provided to go to and from the conference.
There have been a few times when I had to rent a car. I always make sure that I have travel insurance from Suresave when I am going to rent a car. I want to make sure that if anything happens to the car that I will not have to worry or stress.
Being confident that I am protected is a great feeling. I like to know that I do not have to worry about having any additional out of pocket expenses. The insurance will protect me, and the rental car.

The first time I saw a pressure washer was a friend cleaning concrete. It was love at first sight. I loved the way the pressure spray removed the dirt and left clean concrete behind. The next weekend I bought my own washer and practised cleaning my deck in preparation for staining. I knew I was well on my way to starting my own pressure washing business. Then when I started to apply the stain and sealer I began to notice something strange about the wood. Where before I had a nice smooth deck there were now places where there were deep crevices cut into it.
