About 12 or so older ladies in the retirement community where I work take art classes every week. We try to get them interested in all different types of mediums but the group really fell in love with watercolor painting. They come in every Wednesday morning and can’t wait to get to work. The art teacher from the University has volunteered to coach them and she brings in new art supplies each week. The ladies have progressed so quickly that the group is going to have a show at the downtown library in April. They will have 48 watercolor paintings for sale.They are mostly still life and floral works and some of them are really very good. We are all so proud of them. I hope they get a good turnout. Maybe we will call the local newspaper to attend the reception.

When my better half and I decided to move out west after our kids had left the nest, it was a big decision.
We’d be leaving behind a life built over a span of 30 plus years.
But we knew we had to do it due to my failing health.
My doctor informed me if I was to make progress with my respiratory problems, I needed to move out of the pollution-infested cities of the northeast and head west.
Since we have family in Oregon, we decided to go there.
Our choice in housing was simple: Manufactured housing.
There’s an outstanding company our family recommended, Colonial home loans, who will allow us to apply for our manufactured home loan online.
That will be one less burden for the both of us.

There is this particular site where it states what I feel about google and its power of the rank of our sites. He described pageranking and spanking with a double edged sword. He was right when he said that advertisers will always look for people who have blogs that have a high page rank but once you do paid advertising google will penalize you for it. So even if you have great content and you were able to use the best Content Management Software there is. If you do paid advertising, he (or they) will penalize you for it. And it sucks.

If you are editing web video, and you are unsure of what parameters you need to consider, then please think about file size. Most of us do not want to sit in font of a blank computer while we wait an hour for a video to load. If you ned to have an extremely long video to prove your point, then you should consider making your project into two or three parts. Many websites that host video require that you keep your videos to a required minimum as to not timeout the server and slow down bandwidth for the rest of the viewers.

How is your job search going? Are you frustrated and getting nervous because you aren’t working yet? It’s understandable to feel some apprehension while job hunting but whatever you do, try not to show that to any potential employers. If you come across as desperate, especially in your interview, that can be very awkward for the interviewer- not to mention for you. It’s ok to express a strong desire for getting the job but make sure it sounds like you are just really interested because it’s a great job, not because you are desperate for any work you can get.
