Dreams and Eyes

If you’ve taken any psychology class, you might have learned about Rapid Eye Movement (REM) sleep. Have you ever wondered why the eyes move in the manner that they do? There seems to be no rhyme or reason to the eye movement on a physical level, but there may be a reason in the subconscious level. Our dreams can be the reason for the eye movement. Some research into this matter has determined that the reason our eyes move during REM sleep is to represent the direction that we are looking toward in our dreams. This can help lucid dreamers communicate by using their eye signals.

Oil 2.0

Seems like every innovation has to have a number .0 put behind it.  For example, on the internet we have Web 2.0 which has come to describe a whole number of different innovations and really seems to mean something different to just about anybody you ask.  Now in the world of oil, we have Oil 2.0, which I have to admit is pretty cool.  Perhaps you’ve heard of bacteria that they can put on oil spills that will eat the oil. Well, now they can do that in reverse.  They’ve got bacteria that they can feed wood, straw or other waste products and in return they get oil, and this stuff is pretty much ready to be put in the gas tank without any further refinement.

Fixing The Registry Right

There’s a common thing amongst the different versions of the Windows operating system, and that’s that it tends to slow down over time.  This is often due to the clutter and corruption that tends to take place in the Windows registry.  The registry is a central storage area for software and hardware preference and settings files that tell your computer how to correctly operate all your programs and hardware devices.

The registry is very important to your computer, and it’s definitely essential that you use only the best registry cleaner that you can find.  I recommend RegCure for the highest quality scan and best backup and restore feature.  RegCure is made by ParetoLogic software, a highly respected software development firm.  All ParetoLogic’s products have a 100% satisfaction guarantee.

House shopping

The best thing that can be said of shopping for a new home is that you get to see some nice decor. For the last few weeks I have shown a wide variety of houses the agent thought might be what I am looking for. Some had hardwood floors while others had wall to wall carpet. The variety of furnishings reflecting the sellers tastes. The most interesting of which is the house that had remote control blinds. The rich wood blinds hid the panoramic view beyond until a button was pressed and the blinds opened and revealed it. I may buy that house for just that feature.
